A few of the next round of products are done and *finally* back from powdercoat...I did a couple of links elsewhere but figured I'd put it all here in one spot as well. Here's a recap of the new items that are now ready and complete:

SEAT BACK TRIM RUBBING STRIP (set/2)
These are the plastic strips that screw to the back of the front seats (mostly in the NAS ST trucks), but *technically* fit any model year Defender up to 2007 (original part #MWC6106PCB). It essentially keeps the seat back material from rubbing/tearing on the NAS cage or anything else behind when in the fully reclined position. This falls into the “more of an annoyance” category since these tend to break/crack at the screw-hole mounting points over time (I guarantee anyone that has these in their truck, go look at them and they are cracked/broken). These replacements are CNC milled from one-piece solid bar aluminum, and powdercoated black for a durable finish.

Pricing (for the set of 2) is $95 retail, or $85.50 with the ‘Defender Source’ 10% discount applied. These units are DONE, in-hand, and ready to ship!

Use the coupon code "D90" at checkout to get the automatic 10% discount...many more photos/description available here:

ROW LOWER DASH SWITCH PLATE
This is an upgraded replacement for the lower dash switch panel by the drivers’ knee, and on the ROW trucks house the interior & dash lights, hazard switch, etc (similar to original part #MTC2640). However, unlike the factory part, the switch plate cutouts on this replacement have been modified and configured to hold (3) Carling switches instead of the factory switches (but still fitting the switch panel to the mounting space allotted). Many find the change over to Carling switches a worthwhile upgrade, and frankly after discovering the astronomical price of the genuine ROW Hazard Switch (part #PRC2278) and the shoddy construction of the interior & dash light switches - going Carling and never looking back has been a blessing to many of us, and I know others will benefit from this upgrade as well. This replacement switch panel is CNC milled from one-piece solid bar aluminum, and powdercoated black for a durable finish.

Pricing is $45 retail, or $40.50 with the ‘Defender Source’ 10% discount applied. These units are DONE, in-hand, and ready to ship!

Use the coupon code "D90" at checkout to get the automatic 10% discount...many more photos/description available here:

NAS LOWER DASH SWITCH PLATE
This is a new part to add a lower dash switch panel by the drivers’ knee, which on the NAS trucks this area contains only the smaller dash lights dimmer switch. The factory dash dimmer switch is notorious for failing (which leaves it in the dim / "barely visible" position), and does not offer a Carling Switch configuration. However, this switch plate has been modified and configured to hold (3) Carling switches instead of just the single factory switch (but still fitting to the mounting space allotted). This switch panel is CNC milled from one-piece solid bar aluminum, and powdercoated black for a durable finish.

PLEASE NOTE: this upgrade may not be for everyone as it does require *some* cutting of the vinyl wrapped on the factory dash as well as enlarging or cutting a portion of the metal skin behind the vinyl portion of the dash. BUT to reiterate as mentioned above, many find the change over to Carling switches a worthwhile upgrade, and after years of continuous issues with the dash dimmer switch...going Carling is worth the peace of mind.

Pricing is $45 retail, or $40.50 with the ‘Defender Source’ 10% discount applied. These units are DONE, in-hand, and ready to ship!

Jason,

Does the new NAS Switch plate come with blanks if you don't have enough to fill three spots?

Nick:

It doesn't come with any blanks per se, but below is the Carling #RCV-39000001 that I've used personally when this need arises.

SIDE NOTE: I've actually been still *working* on getting setup as a Carling dealer, and the goal being to carry some of their basic switches...off-on, off-on-on, on-off-on, hazard, some ARB switches, and the blanking plugs. I'll circle back with them to see if there's been any progress, but for now I just generally source mine from places mentioned above or MUD UK. But hopefully I can change that down the road...

Jason,

Might be worth looking into the Carling switch that replaces the Rear Washer Wiper. Mud UK has it, but they make it sound like it was a special switch just made for them.

Working on a new badge mount for the "factory" Land Rover oval decal (to fit part #DAG100330). That way, there's the retro cast-aluminum Solihull badge option...but also a newer Land Rover decal option for those that want to stick with the more traditional badge mount:
