I don't know about the taste, but the smell - you know that gasoline and 90W smell, the whole hill. Smelled like....victory.

Got my door handles and vents last night. Super impressed with both products. Makes the factory stuff seem ridiculously fragile and flimsy.

Thanks Nick! Glad everything arrived safe & sound.

Trust me I know exactly what you mean...in particular every time I reach down to close the door now, I'm somewhat surprised when I am met with this robust door handle now. The plastic door handle seems so under-designed now by comparison....

Thank you my good man ...the thing about the grille, it looks really good even when it's standing alone by itself just out of the box. But then when you mount it on the truck it totally transforms the entire look, and you stand back wondering how you had this flimsy plastic piece of shite on there before.

Already in process ! I scrapped the first couple of prototypes as I was doing a 2-piece thingy, next one will be likely milled from 1/5" thick material in order to keep the headlight "ring" as 1-piece. It'll mean a lot of material waste, but I just wasn't satisfied with the first couple iterations of it...

Any chance that you might make a run of the smaller defrost vents for the older trucks? Let me know if you do.
Thanks, seth

Seth:

I did put a poll out previously...feel free to bump it if you want:
http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...est-60547.html

I wasn't getting a huge response per se, and I cheated and instead swapped out my dash pad for a newer style with the larger vent mounts (even though I have the earlier actual vents):
http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...tml#post633959
(finished product installed here: http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...2&d=1431479310)

But all that said, if there is interest I'd certainly consider it...

Hey! I've got an idea. What we really need are sweet alloy tail light panels for D130s...
