SD style rack feet available in Sept.

We are having the SD style rack feet re-made.
These will be exact reproductions and the first batch should be with us in a month or so. Price TBD, but very close to what the LRNA pricing was before they went NLA.
Just FYI and thanks!

How about a couple POE end pieces Mike? Please .... I know you say you don't like how you have to manhandle the cage on with them, but I could really use a set.

Sorry, isn't going to happen.

Complete POE (corrected) cages are coming, and the interior pieces to convert a factory POE to a correct interior cage are coming, but not the original above the door pieces.

Thanks

Any updates if SD rack parts will be available, crossbars and ladder? I know this has been asked before. Website still says only whole systems.

Ok, I will cut down the SW ones I have

edit: so the new POE cages will be what? A new A pillar and the two side pieces? (the cross piece should be the same as would the under fender pieces, right?)

Are the feet cast aluminum as original? Is it possible to embed a better captive nut so it won't rust out like the steel original?

Anything is possible with enough demand.
What won't happen is if only 1 person wants something... then we just can't do it.

So if just rear ladders and crossbar are what folks want, then place an order. If enough orders come in then we can do whatever.

Everything has to be made and shipped in at least batches of 15-20 in order to make the numbers work.

note: this only applies to Defender stuff. We have decided to hold off on Disco racks and such due to lack of demand.

As for feet:
Going to be as stock. A SS bolt with anti-sieze and you are golden. I've got a 95 90 here at the shop that has lived in Maine since 95 (lives outside year round) and its rack feet and hardware are in fine shape. We even took the rack off recently in order to reseal the roof and it all came apart and went back together with all the same hardware.

The POE "completion" cages will be the parts needed to make a factory POE safer in order to make a complete cage (not just stuff bolted to the roof). I don't have a list of those parts in front of me right now, sorry.

Rack feet are now in stock and ready to ship if anyone needs them.
You can buy them in sets of 4 or individually.

It did but sadly the small hinge parts on 2 have broken.

I believe mine are the original SD ones and ECR replacements are better designed (though you and Keith would know better).

If they're all the same age they came from ECR. if there's a mix of old and new ones, and the old ones broke then they were the originals.
