Container leaves the UK on 12/15 with all the test units, including the new SD NAS 90 rack system.

Once it arrives we will check everything, make adjustments as needed and then order inventory.

Realistically... we are gearing up to be able to fulfill Spring orders.

Will the Bumpetts work with the Mantec tire carrier? IIRC the original SG versions needed to be modified to work correctly.

I'm interested in the bumperettes depending on price and fit (Mantec Spare Carrier).

Will you be selling parts of the roof rack or only the whole system. I need a basket if you are.

Thanks

We do sell, and have in stock, most repair parts for the SD racks. Here is the link:

http://www.eastcoastrover.com/SDrackparts.html

The new design basket is not yet available, but will be available alone for folks who want to upgrade the basket in their existing SD rack system.

Hi:

I am specifically looking for a replacement basket for my rack which was damaged beyond repair. I did see this on your website however, when I spoke with one of your staff who said they didn't sell the baskets.

Please let me know

Thanks

Roland- If ECR cant provide sell you a basket - the SD baskets come up for sale quite often on the parts for sale listing. I sold mine through here a few months back, and at the time there were one or two others for sale at the same time.

Another option is to have one fabbed for you- I had Wolf fab a roof rack for me- its alot sturdier than my original SD basket. Just a few options.

Not sure if we have any new baskets left (Holly will know if you call her).
We also have used takes off 90 baskets if you want to save some $, or you can wait a while and get one of the new and better SD baskets that will be coming shortly. They will be a nice piece and cheaper than fabricated units.
Lots of ways to go.

You can see the new design basket here:

One step closer on mail order bumpers.
The prototype is looking good. Now we go into production.

I would be in for a set of bumperettes and the bolt on trailer hitch that SG used to offer.

On a side note it is a real shame how badly Greg and the Casey ruined Safari Gard. You can say what you want about the people and the customer service but even now people are making money on Greg's designs. He really was the first to offer a lot of these products and it is a shame.

That being said I am glad someone is resurrecting the products.

No current ETA on rear bumperettes.
We are working on them. Front bumpers are the priority as we need them for in house projects.

In regards to the SG post. I wish we could just call SG and have these shipped to us. It would be much less hassle and if it were possible we would still be doing that. We did our best to support and promote SG when Greg had it, even tried when the new guy bought it, didn't work.

Thought I would give this a "first of the year bonus incoming" bump

Any updates on delivery dates and pricing? Pre-orders?
