I thought when they went to the XZL O/R and went two the four lug pattern it went 235/85 instead of 7.50.

Trying to figure that out... people giving random directions. How would you properly read the code? Mich's regular tire codes differ from this style.

If these are from MOD storage then they were made for long storage so the rubber should be better then if they were straight to civilian market rubber. I remember someone either on here or G&R saying that and seemed to make sense.

I like that size. some UK ex MOD places have them. I like how that center line has one more lug.

I bet they made them for people that live in places that aren't allowed to fit a tire size different than what came on the car.

My 7.50R16 say O/R on them. I assumed it just meant off road.

These 235/85R16 would probably be nice on 7" wide alloy wheels or disco spares too.
