and according to his website they're also 5% off...maybe Exmoor sent him the wrong LT77 mat too? or maybe Exmoor is offering 5% off right now to everyone.

Please accept my apologies in advance for asking probably one of the dumbest LR questions in the world, but will these fit my '97 NAS ST Defender V8?

Does it help much? There is a lot of roam in the transmission tunnel already

Can anyone else please let me know if this kit is useless or not for my V8?

Hi, Red-

If your 97 is an NAS and still has it's stock auto transmisison, It won't work. If it's had an R380 installed, it might, depending on which tunnel was installed with it.

I might be wrong (nothing new there) but I thought there were only 2 types of tunnels fitted to NAS trucks? LT77 on the early (94?) ones and R380 on the later (95/97?) including the autos? Is there a 3rd type I didn't know about on the 97s? I know you have both Chris but I thought the 97 and the 95 were the same and the R380 set fits both years?

Planning to get one of these sets for myself eventually so I am interested in the answer to this as well since I have a 97 still with an auto and original tunnel.

I'll take a look when I get home later today and verify, but the last time I had my 97's auto tunnel/console box out, I remember it looking completely different under there and forward to the fuse box. I'll double check and report back!

My 94 still has it's LT77, with a R380 standing by for swapout.

FWIW, I ordered one of these from Stephen. I can't remember whether it was the lt77 or r380 (pretty sure it was the r380). When I spoke with him on the phone, he said it really didn't matter which one I ordered, as they both would need a bit of modding. I didn't install these myself (had a shop do it), but can tell you that they are quite nice. All together the three mats probably weigh close to 40 pounds and do a great job of blockig both heat, and noise. Hope this helps.

Yes the R380 kit fits. Just have to slide it under the console.

I so need to put this into my 94, just can't justify the price, at least for now.
