Order Information

The orders are adding up so to make sure I stay organized and don't miss anyones information can you please PM me the following information after you have posted in the thread what you would like to order:

Full name
Email address
Number of units

I'm still missing email address from: therovershop, smenzel, rankar, KSARover110, Chuckc4, jruti. Stuart, I think I have yours already but please confirm.

Perhaps I'm stating the obvious but don't post your email in this thread as it can be harvested for spam. PM's on the other hand are safe and your emails will not be used for anything other than sending you a Paypal invoice for your order.

Thanks!

Have been following these in UK and the cheapest I've found them is 12 quid, excluding shipping and paypal conversion scam, uh rate.

This is a good price, so please put me down for 6 sets.

Is the cable connection just the little screws that mush the (stripped) wire?

They are available both as a bolt on connection (as pictured) or a crimp on connection. My thought was that the bolt on is more forgiving to install for a novice like myself. If you do a poor crimp you have to buy a new connector. That said I am flexible to what the majority wants. I am not bringing in both types for this order so we have to pick one. Are everyone leaning towards one more than the other? Perhaps a poll is in order?

I would be interested in a few sets of the crimp connector. Do you have a link to the specifics of this style?

Luis.

Here's a little primer for you and me from the manufacturer. Anyone else feel free to chime in because I do not know what I am talking about. This is the explanation from the manufacturer.

My Optima Yellow top as an example:
CCA 750A is the maximum amount the battery can deliver for 10 second at -18C
CA 870A is the maximum amount the battery can deliver for 10 second at -0C

The amount of Amps the battery delivers is entirely dependent on what the receiving component requires. A starter for example usually requires 300A for 5 seconds. In this context the connector may become unreliable above 800A. Check the Amp ratings for your receiving components to be certain.

Just as a comparison. I have a Superwinch X-9 on my Defender and I do believe winches are one of the highest amp draw components you can have on your vehicle. The X-9 draws 73A with 0 lbs weight and 420A with 9000 lbs (max rating) weight.

Here are some draw calculations for some of my other accessories:

50" LED bar 173W (13.3A)
20" LED bar 35W (2.7A)
Air Compressor (21A)
JW Speaker LED Headlights 2.5A

Hi Russel.

Here is a picture of the crimp style. I'm likely not going to be bringing in the crimp version for this group order but I plan to carry this product in my store so I will likely have both available at a later time although not at the group discount.
