New Wolf Fab Stealth roof rack. This has been a year long endeavor to design and build the ultimate roof rack. It has recessed and removable plastic flooring, two Thule bars, and 4 removable/pivotable sides. The rear ladder is actually two separate sections using my bumper and tire pivot mounting locations. For SWs, the right mount is body mounted.

The coolest feature of this rack is that you can remove all four sides and run it in "stealth" mode.

This particular rack is heading to a Land Rover dealership in CO, so I hope to post pics in a few weeks once it gets mounted.

Only available powder coated: $2600

Yes. We are working on a future design that will fasten the flooring with countersunk hardware. That was one of those "aw crap" moments post powder coating.

This one is for a ST, but we are building a second one at the moment for a SW.

No, but I'll be up your way in May on a wheeling trip.

Yes. It's heavier than I want. Trouble is that aluminum is 3 times the cost, but I am considering a heavy wall aluminum solution. The only way to reduce weight is build a SD shopping basket. The SD basket is about 80lbs IIRC, my complete basket is about 180lbs.

I've never been able to get a complete weight of everything, but I'd estimate about 220-250lbs.

No, but I found a source for gutter brackets and it can be done.

st rack

can you buy one without the sides? so it is in "stealth" mode only? i need a super low profile rack and was designing one to build myself but this would be much better than anything i could do, plus save me the time. thanks! looks great!

Yep, without sides cuts the cost by about $450!

Got the second prototype mounted up on a customer truck. I'm still tweaking the design a bit. For mounting the flooring I am trying some J hooks through the floor structure. They work great and help support the floor, but they obviously introduce places for water to intrude. This second prototype has the Thule bars father apart. I did this as it seems more guys are concerned about carrying long stuff like canoes and kayaks versus a snowboard. Either way, the racks are built to suite.

I like it - except for how it overlaps the top of the windshield portion of the rollcage.
