Kexby Expedition Gear Website Updates

We just did a run of updates on our website based on you feedback:
  • RRC covers can now be ordered as a set, only the fronts or only the backs
  • Our PUMA 110 middle row seat covers are now up and available for ordering
  • "Tactical" models of all seat covers can now be ordered, pictures will be forthcoming
  • Custom orders of tire covers can now be facilitated online through the notes section. Just let us know how you want to customzie your cover including with the embroidery service we're now offering.

Look for our products at the Vermont Overland Trophy in a few weeks and hopefully you saw our products at the WA Overland last week!

Thanks for all of the continued interest!

Should be ready early this week. Shop was closed for the holiday so will be picking back up first thing in the morning. As of the 3rd it was well underway with a group of other RRC covers.

Thanks.

Nice. You'll have to show us some pics of the tactical covers! The "regular" covers on the site look sharp. Are these waterproof?

Thanks, we'll get pictures up ASAP. The first set of Tactical Covers is going on my truck so I should be able to get them on shortly.

Re: the waterproofness; our upholsterer wisely advised us that even if a particular fabric is waterproof or highly water resistant (which ours is), the nature of seweing them does fill that waterprrof fabric full of holes, so claiming that the covers themselves are waterproof isn't wise.

All that said, I'm going to experiment with hydrophobic sprays (Rustoleum just started offering it at a good price point at the Depot) to see how it affects the material. More to come.

Tent seam sealant might be of use too...it is not perfect, but it has a track record for this sort of thing....

You probably just want to see if it come out the front and makes it look terrible...so I'd do it on a small out of the way spot first. I've used it on tents and it works really well...if it gets a lot of abuse, recoating it is needed..probably true with any seam.

C'mon, let's get real here guys.

We just need a set of seat covers, or tac seat covers, that will resist the occasional Starbucks Latté breach or runaway Sippy-cup®.

Not a lot of Camel Trophy action in my area these days.

I'm sure Tony's covers will be up to the task; seams and all.

We're knee deep in rebuilding the site this week to reflect the new products, more options to "build your own" tire cover, etc. Bear with me!

Can you give me a week or two? Amanda is due on Thursday and the seat is at one of the upholsterers that's a few hours from me. If it can't wait I can try to make a run to pick it up.
Thanks

I honestly feel that ours are the best on the market. Hard stop.

If you want to maximize the durability of Any seat cover, not just ours, I'd suggest scotch guarding and seam sealing them. What are you running now?

Got my Kexby Expedition seat covers installed in the Range Rover.
To say they fit well is an understatement.
Looks like a custom interior.
I'll post a pic later.

My Autozone seatcovers are now for sale.... $20 anyone??
