Which manufacturer? Vast differences in quality and functionality between them and the "bargain" units aren't worth the effort to install.

Hi

Sorry to be slow on this. At this rate we will have them in hand just when it gets hot out.

I believe these are the three wire but will confirm.

I am working hard on the price right now. The crating and uk carriage is killing me. To all those that e mailed or PMed to express interest you are not forgotten.

Our last container of the year leaves next week so if they will come it will be soon, I hope!

How did the install go? Did you make a custom wiring harness with a relay? Schematics please.

If it's for a two wire bottom mount, I'm definitely in the market for harness and windscreen. How would you prefer I stay in touch with you on this?

Hi

Really...this got complicated....

I have been working with a company in the UK for about 4 months now making a harness. We started with just heated WS and mirrors. We went downhill from there.

The new harness will be a stand alone harness that powers off a 2nd fuse panel in the batt box. We tried to think of all of the possible combos of accessories that the shop deals with all the time and to build one harness that can accommodate many different variants of accessories and allow for expansion as needed.

Basic harness is set up for:

heated Ws
heated mirrors

front two door and rear door courtesy light switch
(2nd row provision is an add on)

front two door and rear door power locks w/remote and ft power windows
(2nd row provision is an add on)

front two seat heaters
(2nd and 3rd row is an add on)

set of 4 prewired relays in batty box for accessories

All of the main harness will come with switches, mounts, relays etc..... all you need EXCEPT the accessories! As the truck expands over time the wiring is already in place, switches are run it will just be a matter pf plugging in the new accessory.

The first kits are being installed next week so we can get some pics and such.

Once these are closer to reality I will start a thread on them and we can better discuss specifics.

I think you are complicating matters with all those add ons that we probably will never install here.

Kiss principle works well for something that likely draws 30 amps. Switch, heated screen timer/relay. I don't see the need to reinvent the electron for something they have already figured out in the UK.

For example: http://www.mobilecentre.co.uk/index....screen&x=0&y=0

Really don't agree with you.

The amount of heated seats, mirrors, power windows and doors we install is just plain stupid. A one stop harness is a great idea for those who might want the accessories. Just because you don't want or need it is no reflection on the suitability of the design and implementation.

The harness in the UK @ Mobil Center is fine for what it is but it is not what we are making nor even in the ballpark of what we are making.
