Geared is open and offering restoration services!

Hello all! I'm excited to introduce Geared Restoration Co. to the D-90 community. We are a restoration shop in the South East that cater exclusively to the Defender marque, and have some very unique pieces of kit in the works that I think will be very well received here.

About GRC:
We offer some of the highest quality restoration services in the industry, and aim to be competitive with the best. Anything from a basic chassis swap to a highly custom, nut-and-bolt restoration is well within our capabilities. We pride ourselves in our attentiveness to detail and quality, and these traits are well reflected in our work.

About myself:
I have been a Rover enthusiast and owner for the last seven years, and worked as the lead mechanic at SafariHP for four years before leaving to pursue personal ventures. Recently I came to the realization that this industry is where I belong.

Having seen several facets of the industry from the inside, I promised myself that I would provide excellent work in a straight forward and honest manner that isn't money-driven. GRC holds true to these values.

If you're looking to start a new project, we'd love to earn your business. We're offering reduced rates on our 'first' two projects, so don't hesitate to contact me with any inquiry. Keep an eye out for our website and Facebook page soon! Thanks.

-Ash

Let's see some project examples - if not customers' trucks, then your own!

The bulk of my work on Defenders took place under SafariHP's roof, and I would like to make that very clear before I share any photographs of trucks I have built and been involved with. I do not intend to take full credit for these builds, but the fact that I had a significant, often primary role in them is inescapable.

While I have been involved with several restorations, to avoid any confusion I'll be attaching a few small albums containing before/during/after photos of trucks I built almost entirely by myself.

'94 90 on a galvy chassis with a 300tdi, Toyota axle conversion, 5" Equipe kit, HD steering and a slew of other goodies.

I'm happy to answer any questions you guys may have. Thanks.
