Galvanized 110 early tub top cappings

just arrived.* New old stock 110 SW NOS galvanized cappings.* Sold as a pair only.* These were left over when the green gods made the cost saving call to stop galvanizing the cappings.* These are the early style (NOT NAS) as I am sure there are some missing holes.

Top cappings only and not the verticles. Images coming as I don't have photoshop on this computer.

$350.00 for the set (JIM C gets first dibs as I mentioned them to him first)

I definitely want the newer style cappings, even though these are definitely better. This is the style where the end by the door isnt "finished" isnt it? i.e. you can see the shape of the channel (I think that was so they'd "match" the door trims, which still had cappings).

Will post pics. You may be right. As luck would have it I have a beautiful 64 109 sitting behind me (that is a great story 20k miles, took the floor boards out with a flat tip screw driver - not a grinder) but anyway on the 109 the capping goes to the door opening. On the pair I just got the rounded part flattens abouit 1/2 inch before the door opening. Checked the three other 109s on site and they all do the same (rounded to the door opening). Any info is greatly appreciated to ensure an informed buyer.

thats just a girl at the office. I have a project with Lockhead Martin on Monday and she spotted my AR and wanted a pic. She might be alittle more than the cappings.

Cappings are spoken for by the way. Had 5 sets and none left.

Thanks Ron. Probably just as well since I might have to weld on them anyway and can get galvanized when done. If I go through with it, the plan is to make the top section of the middle doors removable, and the capping is to dress the stub on top of the bottom section to match the doors.

I'll send you the side steps in exchange. I took a half hearted attempt at getting the rust off one one at some point but otherwise they are what she came with. I believe you wanted them right?

Steps would be great.

How much do you need of the cappings? Two middle doors worth or only 6-8in? I will hack it up this weekend and mail it out. PM my your address.
