The trip is two weeks but I'm not planning to go that long between resupplies.

Well it all depends how much refrigerated stuff you like to carry. Everyone is different.

I'd fill it up with ice cream for a trip to Baja since I'd be eating tacos the whole time.

Yeah, yeah, I know. It's too big. You're of no help, John.

That's pretty much my two week menu. Tacos, ice cream and beer.

We have never had a space issue with the arb 50qt. Longest I have done is two weeks with a very minor restock in the middle.

45s are fine for the east coast where resupply is always pretty close. For those of us in the west, is a different story. You can drive for days without seeing fresh veggies in a store. But, I understand if you don't have the room. This is part of why I ditched my NAS 90. There's never enough room for the stuff you need to do a long trip.

A big factor is what you like to eat. If you're just doing cold cuts and drinks, the 45 is fine. When you want to carry fresh veggies, those little baskets fill up quickly. As far as I know, there's no way to put veggies down below without either ruining them or running the fridge so warm that it's not safe for stuff up top. Temp control is a pain. I don't know this for sure but I feel like the added space of the 60 would result in more effective temperature regulation.

The MT60 is a beast. I love it and the room inside the fridge does not seem excessive. However, its too big for my 90 tub as I had suspected so I will be passing on this deal at group buy price and post it up in the for sale section. I wish Engel made a 50 quart size. I'm going to order the 43 quart (MT45) model and hope for the best. If I had a 110 I'd keep it. What do you guys think?

But you already have one, David! Do you still need me to drive yours around for a few months or was that just something I made up? I vaguely recall you mention something about "storage".

I was being literal. I actually "licked" you 90! ;-)

Nah. Just messing about. But in all honesty, I've never been an SW fan except for yours! Such a nice setup you have. Really well thought out and executed.

Pm'd about the rest.
