ECR office staff

It is with regrets that we announce that our office manager, Holly, will be leaving us shortly.
We wish her well in her future endeavors.
Our new office manager, Kim, will be taking over soon and she and Holly are working together for the next few weeks in order to make the transition as smooth as possible.
Please be patient as Kim learns the in's and out's of all things Land Rover and gets up to speed.
Thank you in advance for your patience.

Mike Smith, ECR

Yeah when I was a parachute rigger there was the "iron" to iron out the wrinkle/creases in the chutes that were being inspected or worked on.

You referenced the term "basic training" with crating in the same sentence so I read it wrong.

Hey, the LT is looking for a box of grid squares, anybody got an extra laying around for him? Also- when you go out to the motor stables, 1SG said all of the trucks in 3rd platoon are jacked up, every one of them needs to have the muffler bearings replaced- tonight.

Best one I have heard for mechanics was to tell the new guy to keep shaking the spray paint can until the rattle stops.

No one here has fallen for it yet.

So I was a steamfitter by trade. We used to send the new appr. to the supply house for 5lbs of steam. It worked ever time. The other one I remember in my body shop days was sending the sander kid to get you a cup of thinner in a styrofoam cup. Classic

While working in a fab shop specializing in welding Aluminum and Stainless we would always send the new sheet metal guys to go ask the tool crib for the Aluminum magnet. The tool crib guys would get on the loud speaker and announce to the entire company that (insert new guys name here) was looking for the Aluminum magnet

The best one is the radiator insulator:
