It depends on what you're trying to say. If you're just saying the word diesel it's 'diesel' in both languages. If you're saying diesel fuel its 'combustible diesel' (SP) and Gas-oil or Gazole (F). French have different words depending on if you're talking about the type of engine or vehicle (diesel) versus the fuel itself.

Carl, Actually no In Perfect Castillan Spanish, spoken mostly in Spain, Argentina , Uruguay , chile , parts of Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Ecuador, Colombia and Venezuela, combustible diesel found at the pumps in every gas station it is called Gasoil Furthermore, in Uruguay kerosene level 2 it is also called Diesel and available in not so populated areas at the pumps as well

Combustible translate to the general assumption of Fuel

So no need for a Spanish translation then? Sounds like Gasoil (Gas-oil) would cover both Spanish and French, is that a correct assumption?

Correct

Also covers Italian

All these options are proper GASOIL and GAS-OIL as well as GAS OIL

We only use combustible in the same fashion we use here " I need to get fuel " non specific as to what kind of fuel

Also means as in English something is combustible

Thanks! I'm going to change it from 'Diesel Fuel' to 'Diesel Only' because as you're also saying, there is some unnecessary redundancy in using the term 'fuel'.

I would love 4 for my cans , in red lettering even better

When in France a few years ago, gasoil = diesel.
There was no "Z".

You want yellow? or clear? Will do either for the really good customers…

FYI the white is easier to read under poor light conditions.

Here's the old design that says "Diesel Fuel". It fits nicely to the left, inside, to the right of the fuel filler and it is perfectly sized to fit over Brian's mouth as well. It also fits nicely on your Scepter (or other) diesel jerry can. Clearly you can see how much prettier, awesomer and how much more legible my sticker design is compared to Brian's. I'll be revising this design the weekend to say Diesel Only (and using the correct Arabic translation).

Very rare. Diesel in light vehicles across the board is rare here honestly, these guys love thirsty petrol engines that make the trip between Dubai and Abu Dhabi shorter.

Elsewhere in the region, far more prevalent as you get further from infrastructure. Perhaps next time in Colombo I need to go shopping...they love their Defenders down there and everything is diesel.

Available to order!

You can now order both the "Diesel Fuel" and the "Diesel Only" decals at the Tiktaalik web store. Because there were issues with the Arabic translation on the "Diesel Fuel" decal it is being sold at a discount.
