Wait, what? I always thought the best way of getting unstuck was to floor it?

Guys,

All the folks on the group buy list please send me an email with your billing and shipping address - we will send out invoices on these as the shipment is due in Tuesday and we will try to turn and ship Wednesday on all the orders paid up by Tuesday.

Please include your group buy number, confirm color you ordered, and any accessories you needed.

Still need contact/shipping information for a couple folks - invoices sent out today, inventory scheduled to deliver tomorrow and we will turn and ship out all paid invoices as soon as possible.

Pin sets are first come first served as there were only 4 available in the USA - the others will be shipped out as soon as they are available.

Still need contact info from -

3. Stuart L - Orange + Pins
6. Kkilo1323 (Ken C) - Black + Pins
9. Brad P - SG + Pins

Everyone was shipped last week, most if not all should have received their orders by now.

Hopefully everyone can go get stuck and self extract sometime soon! Thanks and enjoy!

I think everyone who bought a set ought to post a picture here first time they're using it.

Am I the first to use these? I launched the Zodiac on a beach today and got stuck on with my Volvo XC90. I did not anticipate this and the Maxtrax saved the day! No joke. The XC90 is supposedly very decent offroad thanks to Haldex Fylhjulsdrift (C303 etc) but apparently also a fat pig because the pick up truck I used in the same location last time did not get stuck. I'm very happy I decided to bring the Maxtrax!

Tut tut. I have a haldex equipped xc70 and a VTM4 equipped Pilot. Take the latter everyday thanks to its rear diff lock system.

I just got rid of an xc90 because the mess it left me in this past winter. My old jeep cherokee XJ never failed me like that

Thats what you get for playing in the Puget Sound without the Defender…

Outside of the on-purpose trials, I think you are the first to get stuck and self extract with the Maxtrax… No photos?

I'm in no way getting compensated by said group buy initiator but these Maxtrax does wonders in sand and I now speak from experience.

I have seen these in action. I was rather skeptical before but totally sold now - they really do work well.

I have used these to extract myself from snow one time.. Used in conjunction with the rear winch, because the belly of the truck sat on the compacted snow and just let the wheels dangle and spin, the underbody protection plates are NOT good in the snow.. (That was a sharp learning curve..lol.). And another time when I found out what permafrosted ground is like when it starts thawing...that shit is nasty.. And they worked absolutely awesome... There are cheaper knock offs now too.. Wouldn't go off roading without them now..
