Defender Vent Kits in stock

Hi All,

We just received our first stock order of Defender Vent Kits. I am sure most of you have run across them but for those who have not you really should check them out!

http://www.wiberg-wiberg.com/vis.asp?gid=88

The kit is used to modify the existing ft windscreen anemic defroster and sort of bring it into the 21st century. I would not say you will get Jaguar quality defrost but it is at least 100% better than the existing set up. The vents themselves are replaced and side pipes are provided to direct warm air to both side windows. The kit comes complete with all parts needed and instructions.

I installed it in my 110 and never looked back. I figure that since I have a very slow truck with poor visibility on its best day AND the steering wheel on the "wrong" side anything would help; they helped so much we became the US distributor.. Plan on about 2-3 hours for the install and this is about a two banana job.

We have the brand new style of vent and the kits will fit all years of Defenders. The older kits would only fit later model Defenders.

The kit is $210 shipped in CONUS. We accept PayPal or call the shop for CC orders.

Please pm or e mail direct. We can ship tomorrow.

has anyone else installed these? Looking for real world feedback. I could use this if it's effective.

I have them. There is more front defrost, although I never felt that was a problem. The side vents don't flow enough air to be useful. Install on my 1991 required a fair bit of cutting and grinding, which was not mentioned in the instructions.

Not sure if you had the old style kits or new style kits. New style much more effective overall with easier install.

We have new style kits.

This is not a magic bullet. It's not like you install this and you have Mercedes quality defrost.....OEM defender defrost is more of a wish that a reality, this makes it work much better but it honestly still sorta sucks.

Thanks David, this looks it'll be a big help. Anything over the stock vents is definitely an improvement, and the site has a good comparative pic.

Dave, you should do a youtube demo'ing this with a before and after comparison. There's very little experienced feedback on the net about these to my surprise.
