If someone needs a pair I have a set I can free up. I was going to use them on a project but going a different way.

I'll do a straight up trade. And eat shipping on the others to whom ever.

Newer roll-up door lock/key part numbers?

Howdy, team-

Sorry to restart the thread, but I bought one of the new take-off door sets from an Ebay seller in AL a few weeks ago, I expect the aforementioned armored-truck modifier. They're identical to the 2007 set that Ron mentioned earlier. The doors arrived in pretty good condition and all they need is some paint for my '94.

My question is, does anyone know a Rover part# or alternative for the lock tumblers needed? As post-2001 doors, they seem to use a larger diameter tumbler than my stock '97 door handles, and my eyeballs and all research tells me that the MTC650x used in the stock NAS and pre-2001 ones will not work. The new doors came with handles and locks, but no keys.

Suggestions?

Thanks,
Murph

Your ignition keys should fit in the new doors, and you can re-key the locks to make them work. You might have to drop a wafer or two from the cylinder, but it will work great. Tomaco1 supplied the pix a while back and I did a write-up, lets see if I can find it...
