Center Dash Face Plates - any custom config requests?

Finishing up another batch of the "Center Dash Face Plates" (standard SDO product line always in-stock), and I frequently get requests for 'custom' configurations (such as swapping in a VDO gauge in lieu of the square clock, changing one of the other cutouts to a Carling, changing a 12V to a VDO cutout, etc, etc). Anyhow, if anyone has any interest in a specific configuration that varies from the normal...now is the time . Face plates are all done from 1/4" aluminum, black powdercoated, and come with black oxide mounting hardware.

FYI here is the "standard" configurations that I've been doing....ideally I can mix & match between any of these cutouts in any combination, or if you have specific dimensions I can do a custom cutout combo:

NOTE: just to be clear, this "custom config" thread was from a couple months ago...that's been wrapped up.

Tyler - do you mean like a generic face plate to fit inside of the #AWR2277LOY radio housing (below)? Could likely be done, would just have to work out the securing/fitment details...but I sort of went down this road before, but seemed most interest was with the Center Dash Face Plate panel (versus the radio housing).

Tyler - do you already *have* an insert that goes in there, or are you saying you could mail me the AWR2277LOY? I have one of those radio housings in the 130 so could pull it off at some point to look it over and see what I think may be feasible. The *only* issue I foresee is that if I recall the housing needs something to "snap" into place, rather than bolt/screw or secure into place.

I have a couple inserts that are just cut from a piece of aluminum to fit. One can hold 3 gauges and one can hold 2 gauges and 3 switches. More than happy to mail them to you along with the upper stereo plastic piece. They are not near the quality yours are so I would be in to buy a new one if you produced them.

actually a DIN mount with clips for either the Tuffy or the Radio dash housing would be cool Lav.
I'm trying to figure out where to put switches for some new stuff..

Right now i can do
3 on left side of dash in the SDO panel
4 in the center panel (1 hazard, air, lockers, 2 12v outlet)

i need stuff in a CB and Radio - i have tentatively figured it out (2m head on the Dash bar, CB is a cobra, and 2m hand set in tuffy base..

actually can you do an Aluminium AWR2277LOY with switch cutouts/gauges as one piece? in the same configurations as the Center dash panel ?

*brainstorming here*

I would be very interested in a carling switch plate that fits the tuffy din slot. I have a cheap plastic one in use now with a shim... Great concept but weak execution on my part!

We'll need to come up with something for the center console AC Heat setup I am working on for the Defender-Style vehicles.
