Is the steering lock by chance the 97NAS/V8 auto one with the shifter interlock on the side? (I believe its part #QRF100860)

mine was a nonspecific thread wood screw

Thanks. I figured I'd try get the right one if I could. But I keep forgetting I have a truck here I can pull one from and take to the hardware store as a reference. I'll post up what it ends up being when I get around to it.

Very unlikely. Can you not move the lever without the knob? The knob just makes it easier to move the lever.
