Back By Popular Demand: Safety Devices Roll Cage Group Buy Summer 2016

With the recent outpouring of interest, we feel it is time for a 3rd round of Roll Cages at Group Buy Prices. What does this mean? It means you save a $#!*load of money. Last time we were able to save an average of $1200 off of current list prices on these.

What I need for you to help me help you:

email me the following to erik@lk8parts.com

Name
Ship to address, preferably commercial as it will save you $$ and hassle
The part # of the cage you are interested in. They can be found here:
Expedition Roll Cages, 4x4 Roll Cages | Safety Devices €“ Experts in Automotive Safety Solutions

When I receive this information from you I will be able to turn around a quote with delivery cost usually within 48-72 hours. Then you can decide if you'd like to be included or not.

This sale will run through the end of June. At that time, all orders must be placed and paid for in full. The cage order will be built and fulfilled and shipped by the end of July with the cages landing here in NY around mid-August and then redistributed to you.

Please ask any questions you may have and please stick to email as things get lost via posts here or PM's.

We have successfully run this a few times now and I'm sure there are people on here who can chime in with their stories.

Thank you for your time and consideration,
Erik

Specifically I want to see what the SD bulkhead bar look like installed. I plan on removing my rear bulkhead completely when installing this. Either way I am ordering this kit. The price is too good to pass up now.

On an aside you still have your truck? So many people on here are from Long Island, yet I rarely see these trucks on the road except when I head out on the south fork, then usually one or two.

Does anyone here have the L011 type internal four point cage that covers drivers and rear pax?

I am curious about what you say about it. Pics too!

I sold one last year to Jason Rose (jrose609). He may be able to offer some input

I like the first version of this cage, it appears that the rear vertical portion gives a bit more room for rear passengers where it angles out to the windows. Is there any reason why this does not appear to be on the web site anymore? Any reason why this won't fit a 1988 110? What about front pax shoulder room, etc...?

My cage's B & C hoops are the same as the top pic. Front row shoulder room is unimpeded by the cage. Second row head room is impeded for tall folks, shoulder room is good. I cant speak to your model year.

I want the same one as RRBailey. I have a 1988 LHD SW and would like to add an internal roll cage to it with padding. I would be interested in also getting the front roll bar like what comes on a NAS 90 SW but my understanding is that that bar does not connect to this type of internal cage. Any help here?

Brent, Take a look at Erik's SD link and look up RBL1487SSS. Its the one I wanted as well and its listed as external (for the front windshield surround), and internal ( for the 4 point cage). Looks like it connects through the hardtop or soft top like a D90.

After looking at the product detail on the RBL011 4 point cage, it looks like that cage wont work with puma rear seats and they recommend an L255 - that may be the difference between the top and bottom pics? Erik - does that sound right to you?

I keep looking at RBL138 7SSS - and wondering if thats the only cage which works well with ribbed roofs.

I have seen that but really don't like the bars that come up over the roof line. The NAS style go down the side of the roof which looks 100% better to me. Looks like I am stuck with internal cage only options at this point.
