Carl, I received my set of knives and they were better than expected. After you showed John Miller and myself that day on the Alvord I was excited to see and use. I really enjoyed the balance and the sharpness, but most of all the lightness while preparing. I butterflied some prawns with such ease. Thanks again for a truly fine product.

Thanks Mason. That means a lot coming from you (and from John) because I know you have incredibly high standards! I'm glad you like the set. Keep me posted on the use of the knives in the field.

Damn I'm surprised I missed this but more surprised Beri has a wife. Good looking knives for sure.

I inadvertently poked my finger with the handle end of the blade and it is equally as sharp. For those when big hands, be careful. The handle is slick when wet.

Yes. Always keep the knife and your hands dry when in use. Good advice for any knife but particularly important for these since the steel will get slippery when wet.

Per separate announcement I just wanted everyone aware that the Tiktaalik store has moved and is now called Tools for Adventure (www.toolsforadventure.com). If you're looking to order a Field Knife Set, this is where you can find it. Thanks!

I actually never let mine leave the kitchen-and nobody else is allowed to touch them, that's the place the hold. Seriously nice knives.

I'm temporarily out of stock. I'm waiting for another batch of cutting boards which are being cut this upcoming week. Should be available to ship in two weeks or so.

The Field Knife Set is back in stock. $199 for the set of three knives and two cutting boards inside the aluminum box. Camp Trent also recently posted this great review.
