why do you have to flaunt your wares and tempt me to buy a VNT just when I thought I had my Defender spending under control?

It's never really under control. You just trick yourself into thinking it is..

How much for a 300tdi D1 expansion tank? Couldn't find the link on their website to the actual product.

It's not hard at all. A few bolts and hoses. These factory-fit VNTs make it much easier. You don't have to do air hose Chutes and Ladders.

The Allisport coolant tank is a well-made product and Randy is easy to work with.

It may be the easiest thing you're ever going to install on your Defender.
Maybe changing a relay or a fuse is easier, but this is right up there.
It's actually a worthwhile piece of bling if you're replacing a plastic tank (because the plastic one will eventually split)

I'm replacing an old not so good looking plastic one on a 200tdi, every time I open the hood I wonder why they would use plastic for something like that. It will match my blingy intercooler. Thanks Randy

Put me down for an expansion coolant tank, too. My radiator and inter cooler are some of best upgrades I've made!
Thx Randy.

If you look closely you will see the intercooler/radiator setup from Alisport - got those from Randy - easy transactions and I got them quickly. Works great to keep the temps cool. Even at this elevation the Pyrometer temps have not broken 950F going up Little Cottonwood Canyon. Ordered the expansion tank today.
