Hey John, how well do those Dan bars hold up? I was thinking of ditching my southdown but I need some protection.

Mike, the dan bars go over your stock track and steering rod. They are greasable and allow you to rollover rocks and other obstacles. They are pretty thick (I'll get you the diam), obviously the weakest point will be your tie rods (unless you had HD ones).

If you'd like to see a set I can bring one up with me next time I go to Manchester (which should be in a week or two).

They sound pretty good, but I may need to replace my drag link to get anything over it, my southdown is bent in the middle and it bent the drag link some also, steering is a little clunky right now because of it.

Abel, I personally installed the skid plate on Chris Vitale's D90 (check out Jimmy's pic at Salmon-sleap.com, Chris has the black D90) at MAR last year. From the pics you can see that he has an ARB front bumper. So yes, it will fit.
