I have all of the original D90 magazine ads from '94-'97 framed. My favorite is "Who says the British can't cook?" If anyone is interested I can try to get them scanned somewhere...

Yes, we are interested and Chris offered to host the files!
Next time I'll go to my folk's I'll take the few ads I have.

Did you guys kept track of which magazine (or other location) you got the ads from?

Did anyone ever get any high resolutions scans together? I'll happily host them on one of my servers if someone can send them to me.

The Land Rover Nashville Dealership has a poster in the centre managers office of an elephant "mounting" the back of a Defender 90. The poster states: "everone loves a Land Rover"

Anyone ever seen this? Know where I can get one?

Thanks,
D Jarrett

All of mine have been mounted and framed...I'll look and see how simple it might be to get it apart if no one else has any loose to scan.

I bought the pink BFG ad showing a Defender. It's much bigger than what my scanner can take (not sure, 2'x3'? not in front of it at the moment), but I will try to just take a picture of it. I'm assuming 8 mega pixels is high resolution enough?
Seems like taking a picture should be fairly convenient for everyone (assuming you have a tripod/you have stable setup/you are very very calm).

I love the "We make de tyres under defenders" advert (BFG advert?). Anyone have a copy?

Check out http://www.fourfold.org/LR_FAQ/ads/index.html for a load of LR adverts. I particularly liked this one...

But then I'm a Brit. Not sure if this works for Hummers...

Hey just a heads up if any of you guys are bidding on the NAS 110 ad on ebay right now. I bought from this woman a couple weeks ago and it was ruined by the time it got to me. Make sure if you are paying this much for a page cut out of a magazine that at least its got a piece of cardboard or something in the envelope so it doesnt get crumpled.

I've got some ads

Sorry to be so late, I just joined the forum. I have collected about 70 Land Rover ads and I think they're great. I would love to trade some hi-res scans or post them or something.

Chuck -- I'd love some high res scans if you get a chance to put them together!

The file is 2.87 GB. What would be the best way to send?
