Is it too late to ask/beg for hi res photos? I'd love to furnish the office. I'll take some of the stuff I have and run it thru a scanner for others too. I have a bunch of cool stuff.

maybe it'll help if I leave an email address... stephenleblanc@yahoo.com

I have a complete set of Desert magazines from 1938-1980 something. In the editions of the mid 60's there are several differant Land Rover ads as well as ads for Koenig Winches which feature Land Rovers in the ads. When I get time I will take some pictures of them and post them.

We should figure out some place to host these hi-res images so that everyone who wants can get them. How big are the images?

I saw that Norros posted an image of the BFG poster "Rover has a mean bite."

Does anyone know where I can buy that potser (or even a good version of the advertisement). It is that very poster that first caught my eye and turned me on to Land Rovers. My college roommate had a magazine ad versino of it on his wall. I love that poster!

Now that the site is on the new server, space is not an issue and I can start hosting all kinds of large files like these and start video too.

Does anyone have a copy of the BFG "Rover has a mean bite" potser or print advert they'd like to part with.

Not only great ad, but that's the first Defender I've seen with a tropical roof (although it looks homemade). Anybody else know of Defender tropical roof additions? That's one thing I wish they maintained from the earlier Series.

Did anyone got to host those higher-res ads somewhere?
If not, shoot them my way (d90.nas at gmail dot com) and I'll post them somewhere people can download them.
