Defender cut out

Here's a shot of the Defender I just cut out with CNC plasma. Measures 12"x11.25" on 1/8th inch steel.

How about using aluminum .... it will match the truck.

Then again..... let that one rust out, it will then truely match the truck.

Great job.

If people wanna buy them I'll sell them. Not sure about price and color options. I could probably knock some out before Xmas but they would probably be black. Colors could happen if there was some interest...

Open to design ideas as well

Good work! How about a side view, maybe with the front on a rock?

Shouldn't one be a rear view then?

Yes Jeff you've done it again....well at least it's still considered a "Rover" project. I need a sign that sezzzz, "It's a Land Rover not a Land Speeder"!

Slightly updated tool path with fine cut tip assembly. It looks a lot cleaner and the tires are a bit tapered on the bottom.

I can do these at $33 with powder coat, shipped.

The tricky part will be one-off colors. I can get 1/2 lb bottles of colors for about $15 from eastwood. Since I don't powder coat every day there will be some time in changing colors and cost of getting colors. That said, if we can gauge the interest and can agree on a few standard colors I will do some up.

Eastwood colors can be found here
http://www.eastwood.com/hotcoat-powd...g/powders.html

My suggestions based on looking at the color chart I have on hand would be:

White: off-white 10135
Blue: ford dark blue 10106
Yellow: bright yellow 10096
Green: mirror green 10293
Red: bright red 10290
Black: I have satin black on hand

Let me know what you think

Jeff
