From SCARR last month. A bit of wheel stuff going on. I need to trim those flares just a bit as they make a hell of a racket when stuffed like that. Liked it so much I made it the new avatar.

I can see you have spent a lot of time, effort and $$ on your truck. I have always been a fan of this setup http://rockware.net/custom/rover1.jpg This will be my next project for my D110. Can you post a snap of the backend?

I have always thought those wheels looked the best on Defender, I wish the NAS trucks would have had them.

I also read on another forum that those are the strongest alloy wheels Land Rover has ever made.

I think I'm going to track down a set for my SW next. They look great after powdercoat, don't they? It's hard to believe I got them off a junkyard disco.

Introduction...

Hey - new member on the forum. I've been traveling with my Series III SWB Land Rover, Eore, for the better part of 12 years. I met a girl 5 years ago. We did the marriage thing and despite friends telling me it was the end of Eore and the road the three of us traveled on together....

Then the kid came - 7 months ago. No problem - car seat will strap nicely into the centre of the bench seat.... Ah - it doesn't fit. I turned to the internet for guidance and found a nice 110 station wagon - '85 with 300tdi kit and galv. frame. Wife approved - Eore stays and the 110 shipped from the UK to Toronto, Ontario, Canada Friday.

Which brings me here - I've lurked on D90 before.... Hope to offer what I can and get help adapting to the softer ride and the TDI....

I don't really have good photos of the 110 on hand - I've attached a shot of Eore on my honeymoon in Guatemala.

2 D90s in one parking lot

Went to the grocery store for milk, and saw another D90. When I came out, the Arles one was gone. Hopefully the owner got a smile from seeing mine parked next to his.

Henry, welcome and beautiful story!

Shawn you're just trying to show off I love those trucks, but wouldn't trade my well used look for anything!
