Your truck looks really nice. It makes me with I had a SW.

we all need 3 trucks. A '94 soft top as a heavily modified trail rig, an immaculate '97 hard top for cruising around town, and a 300 Tdi D-110 to tow the '94 with.

That's a beautiful truck, by the way. Love the blue...

I agree that we all need at least 3.
Thanks for the compliments.

Here are a few shots from a recent trip. Haven't done much to it lately but plan on a engine rebuild over the winter.

Here is a newer one now that I have it built to where I want it, temporarily at least. Courtesy of Jamil Abbasy taken on OFR.

That is a neat looking camper, how is the back laid out?
I see you've got side access to the rear compartment

The truck was originally a utility truck for a power company in the UK. The camper shell is original equipment from Land Rover Special Vehicles. The previous owner cut the side out of the camper to make a drop down table that is covered by a Hannibal awning. It also came with a Hannibal Roof Tent but I sold it because it is too top heavy and the tent did not like the high winds it encountered in the deserts of the American southwest. It is a great family camping truck and it gets used tons.

It looks neat. reason I asked is I've just started a rebuild myself, galv chassis is sitting in the garage, and I'm unsure of the exact route the rebuild is going to take.
Might stay as a 3 door but I've amassed most of the parts for a 5 door with no windows behind the second row doors. I was thinking of building some sort of storage for camping in the back portion.

The interior of the camper shell has shelves on the right side running the length of the wall top to bottom. They are made of aluminium and well built but they need some fine tuning. I need a system that keeps the stuff on the shelf. I don't know the best way to do this yet. I keep a 20# CO2 tank in the back also for tire fills and air tool use. It also has a 20 gallon water bladder under the back seat connected to a marine water pump that is used for drinking water, or at least is supposed to be used for drinking water. The previous owner spent some time in South Africa with it and I am hesitant to use the bladder. I think I will be replacing it in the future. My favorite feature is the fold down table, it is very functional and when folded up it looks good and blends nicely to the lines of the truck. Here are a few more pictures.
