THIS.

I've actually gotten hung-up and was dangling before the belt loop gave-way......so embarrassing.

When you buy an R380 from a board member thinking you'll need it soon as the one in your rig has the 1st - 2nd grind. Then you get a call from another board member asking if he could use it while he gets his tranny fixed. A third board member comes by with a huge Disco with a broken exhaust header (and maybe even a Polish flag waving off the back) to pick it up. The third board member then lifts the R380 like it was a little stone straps in it and takes off exhaust heard from a long ways away.

And you don't think anything off it. And the original R380 still seems to be working fine.

When you have other members rover parts under your deck and in your shed because they don't fit inside their houses in NYC.

My idea of "automatic climate control" ...sometimes I even crack the window so it's just right.

I call these features DAO (Driver Assisted Operation). For example, my variable intermittent wiper features works at exactly the interval I like

No problem - like I was saying - the one in there has been doing fine. Plus I am not looking forward at all to that job. Although you guys probably have it down to a couple hour job - it will probably take me a couple weeks

A couple more:

When a tranny swap will most likely turn into tcase rebuild and frame, seatbox semi resto.

When you can't stand cleaning stuff like the dishes and the kitchen but can end up organizing/looking at/test fitting parts in the garage all morning long.

When you have a black tie event and have a black gear oil/grease stain you cannot get out of your fingers.
