When you give up trying to listen to the radio while driving.

When you keep thinking 100,000 mile warranty, 36mpg, 6 cup holders, dual climate controls all makes a lot of sense... but tell yourself that's not what it's really about... and believe it.

Having dual exhaust is NOT cool.

Your wife doesn't feel insecure about your "porn" addiction.... Assuming my wife is not the only one who refers to Defender websites as porn.

When you run out to pickup some takeout and suddenly realize, most drive throughs are not an option.

When you notice your not leaking as much and it's time to top off the fluids..

When you convince your girlfriend it would be smart for her to get a Rover as well...

When you buy a daily driver... for your daily driver..

When you buy another Rover because your afraid the other ones may break down and there is the "What if I want to go wheeling.."

When your too afraid to actually drive to an event that you need to tow it to get there...because inevitably you will brake down...

While your in the process of restoring your Defender the amount you have spent on parts sitting in your garage you could have virtually bought one restored...that runs.

When you have paid for parts that you don't actually have in your possession and hoping someone will get them for you at one point...

When you buy parts for the next Rover you don't own....yet...

The list goes on...

.....when you drive around town and look at people’s landscaping and retaining walls and think “I could climb that.”

when you switch from 10 spline axle shafts to 24 spline and think it's a major upgrade.
when your vehicle is almost too tall to fit in the garage and you don't even have it lifted.

When you're building a new house and the 1st thing on the list is an 8' garage door, so as to make sure the truck will fit...

When you have a 3 car garage and 5 vehicles but the 90 occupies most of it on its own, most of the time...

When your 'to do' list requires multiple spreadsheets...

And per the recent thread, when you've got so many parts that you've collected you've forgotten to even fit them to the truck or in some cases that you even have them...

When driving any other vehicle you turn the ignition the wrong way to start or worse to stop...

When you almost cause an accident checking out the D90 approaching-

When you remove any "sensitive" items from the cubbies in the dash when you think its going to rain or wash the truck...

When you think about ways to prevent UV from fading you paint more than your skin...

When you see a Jeep and think to yourself...yeah he wishes!

When somebody points out your "check engine" light is on and before he can finish that sentence you already answered: "its normal".
