Wen you've purchased parts from or sold parts to Pedro, and it subsequently takes 3-5 separated individuals to get them to your door/from your door via the RURR (Rover Underground RailRoad).

When you're teaching your girlfriend how to drive manual/stick and you find yourself constantly describing quirks (like shift into 2nd before engaging 1st) you'd never have to describe if you were teaching on any other car like a VW.

When you realize that after the 2-inch lift, 33-inch tires and rock slider installation, there is nothing in reach for your wife and young kids to grab hold of to get in.

When you park your truck in the city in front of some sketchy people you make it look like you actually just locked your doors, even though you know your locks don't work.

When you drive your wife's car, you try to put the key in on the left of the steering wheel.

Wife - totally agree with. But the kids - they get in and out of my truck faster than anyone else. During the summer and the top is off - the 6 year old goes slider to back tire to over the roll cage.

So true!

-------------------------------------------------------------

When you cannot remember stuff like birthdays, outings your wifes tells you or what medicine the kids are taking but you can rattle off part numbers, tire and wheel specs, bolt sizes, etc like it is nothing.

When you don't even know your blood type but know exactly what fluids go into each part of your truck. And the last time each of them were changed.

When you park and have no worry about the car next to you dooring your truck or backing into you as they'll do much more damage to their car from the sliders or the front Rockware bumper.

When you have to drive you truck thru the car wash as the last couple of time the Swampers got stuck on the rails halfway thru. And add to that when you stress more about the frame and axles being dirty than anything else on the truck.

When you hear from your wife that she signed your daughter up for summer camp in ME and first thing you think of is "wonder how close it is to ECR?"

I know, I just about pissed myself when I read the one about putting the key in the wrong side. After driving the 110 for extended periods of time I likewise tend to hop in my other car or the wifes' car and try to stick the key in a nonexistent hole on the leftside of the steering column!

You have to stick your head out the side window to drive because there are too many panties on the windshield.
