I've got a closet full of steering parts and under body cage parts.

And this piece of art.

Nice!

Wouldn't go over with my wife's decor. Don't think she would even find the suggestion funny.

My wife said that is a no go.

She also reminded me of the two engine blocks I had stored one the in the bathroom and the other in the dining room of our first place together.... They got moved.

Dave,
I was lucky enough to land a good one as well. There was parts everywhere in our condo (rental) and the all of us were not to happy including the landlord when I took out the sink area by dropping a Volvo 240 head on it.
Since we are in the house I do get the garage.... but we do have a disagreement on the word "grease" which in her term implies any dark smudge mark where I say it is dirt meaning either one of us could have dirtied up the house rather then me greasing up the walls.

If the pass through used the window from a LR I would be even more impressed.

It is! It's actually a welded metal sculpture made from used motorcycle parts.

My wife is also very easy going when it comes to parts storage in the house. She even bought this Land Rover art for the kitchen years ago.
