Yet another reason to love your defender

4 x u-joints $100
rebuilt caliper $90
rear brake pads $50
Driving your 1998 Honda Accord when doing maintenance on your defender after not having driven it for a few weeks, and it feeling like a 2005 Accura RL (to you because it so smooth) .... PRICELESS

So i figure I saved $50K buying my defender.

It's great isn't it? And this in no way diminishes my enjoymnet of my defender. Perhaps even increases the the size of the smile on my face when I climb back in.
