Why don't you just take the black ones off and have them sand blasted and powder coated "Clear"... I am doing that on my SW with the faded black diamond plate.

That's a similar suggestion to what JimC mentioned. I honestly don't want the protectors on it at all. I don't think the clear or shiny aluminum would really look good on the AA Yellow...IMO. Chances are, I'm probably going to bite the bullet and just buy new wing tops.

I'm definitely on the same page in regards to painting them the same body color....NAY!
