Arrow X-MOd 110 color change

We are about to do a color change on a Tithonus 110 soft top from NATO Green to sand.

We have not decided on an exact color yet, but need to do so this week.

Do any of you guys have a specific paint code, etc you really like and would recommend?

I really liked Michael's work on the Tithonus they did. It was Ivory, but you could probably go a little darker.

Although it is a Jeep/Mopar color, I really like the way Dale's rebuild came out in PPG Jeep Sahara Tan…

Cheers,

Jay

The Jeep Color is a good possiblity. Also am thinking of Ford Raptor "Terrain".

We are going to be doing an eggshell type finish rather than gloss, to keep a good bit of that military look.

You might consider using the correct British military color.

Why not go for MOD desert sand? but i suppose beige is beige from Lr or Jeep ;-)
I like the MOD sand, a mate roller'd his 110 with it and came up with a great finish

The color they used for the WMIK should work, if that's the one Mike's talking about.

I have the raptor in terrain and love it. Was iffy at first and now couldn't imagine any other color.

There's also a Sand that Land Rover used on Series IIs (58-61). Paint code is out there on several LR sites, but I couldn't find any paint shop that had a formula for it. Ended up having to match it by eyeball.

What about Limestone? Nice in-between color.

Thanks guys. All are great choices. Always liked the Jeep Color and will probably go with it.

May do another next month, was thinking of Keswick Green.

My first choice would be the correct flat MOD tan.

Second choice is glossy Jeep tan, but that's a distant second. Military vehicles just don't look right to me in glossy paint, unless it's a TMP 15-passenger van.

Pink Panther would be awesome but only on a ex-MOD Series truck.

Bcourtney has a similar tan color.

So does Nigel. My D1 to D90 build.
