X-Eng X-Brake Group Buy

I had a chance to wheel with Simon from X-Eng over the weekend and he mentioned the possibility of a group buy on his X-Brake: http://www.x-eng.co.uk/X-BrakeDef.asp

And from Lucky8: http://www.lucky8llc.com/Products.aspx?ProductID=2089

I was very impressed with one of the trucks that had one installed and very unimpressed with my stock drum brake, especially on very steep hills.

I am not sure of the cost as it depends on the quantity, but my goal is to get them as close to $400 shipped as possible.

Goose, what are you talking about? The group buy is through Justin.

Exactly my point...for allowing you to represent Lucky8 under " I " and not " WE " or simply " Lucky 8 "

but then again..I love to give you shit

Well then, just so "we" are clear, "I" am organizing a group buy through Lucky8 and X-Eng. If "I" can get enough people who want an X-Brake, then X-Eng will give "us" a discount through Lucky8.

So far "we" have three takers.

Anyone who wears a Canadian flag should be shot on site.

Since you have Jonathan representing Lucky8, from now on all my purchases will be directed towards DAP, and will campaign to get Steve Young back on board

Dave.. no hate , but if keeps it up with the " I " , post will continue

Is like if you and I talk about doing another run of the vents, but you are up to your eyeballs doing other stuff and said " Goose go ahead and organize it, I will pretty much be " Hey guys, over the weekend Buck agreed to do another run, he is making the mistake to allow me to run the details, hence, we will be taking orders through me...etc etc etc "

I'm posting from my iPhone. I'm taking a rather large shit right now; appears to be a cross between 7-11 hot dogs, lamb chops, and collard greens. I'm tempted to box this up, stamp D.A.P. on it, and mail it to Gus -- it's basically that same shit you get from D.A.P. anyway.

Pics can be sent upon request.

Okay.

Not to poop (pardon the pun) on the disk brake conversion, as it is a super cool upgrade over stock. But I eliminated it all together and put in a line lock. The lock was simple and cheap, and removing all the junk behind the t-case allowed for a flat bottom, and quicker throttle response (tdi, not much hp to spare). Just an fyi.
