I didn't ask! He was selling whole vehicles and then thowing in random parts. There was a whole shed full of old Jeep parts - but nothing spectacular. My guess is that they would sell the whole lot - probably about $10k?

A guy is coming in from PA that wants to buy the 10+ military vehicles.

I'd love to find a 3000 to play with, not a fan of the bugeyes though...

I need them like I need a hole in my head. I am really looking for a 250GTE, I am still bitter about the one I missed five years ago and now the f-car market is dropping, I might be able to find one I like.

I know I'll get flamed for this one, but honestly my favorite f-car is the 400. Great angular shape, and early ones actually have manual trans and 6x webers.

BTW - Ron, call my buddy Jim, he is really truly actually interested in Winky.

That window and the hard top (assuming its for an early Jeep) are pretty good finds.

He'd probably make more selling the lot in pieces if time wasn't an issue.

I've seen people make decent restored military Jeeps from similar looking heaps. So many of the parts are available, the key is an original data plate and maybe some other give or take pieces to keep the overall cost somewhat reasonable.

I love this site, start on a conversation about an estate sale in VA for Jeeps and end up with a lovely piece of H3000 porn! If ever there was a lady in red, that is it.Ouch!
Michael, kudo to your uncle, and an idea on your rotting 3000 find. If it looks like the guy is not visiting thesite, use the county registrars office to get a name and address from the property tax department. You can then mail him or maybe get a phone number. Good luck

I bought a rusty Healey 3000 from a guy in N.H. once. It broke in half while on the transporter.
We had to put two guys on either side and lift it up in the middle just so it would roll. A Brit came by and gave me 4K for it. I guess they are worth restoring even when there is not one usable part on them.

No flame... you are just NUTS *LOL* j/k

I have to agree with Ron, the only 4 I would ever consider ( I guess because my Dad had one ) is the 250, also it was Enzo's fav car next to the Dino. ( that it is one I regret selling back in the days )
