Work to play ratio way off

You know you're working too much when your Defender's battery goes dead in the driveway. All it's running is the clock, right?

pull the ground off the battery ... put a meter in line and measure the current draw with the key out of the ignition ... should be as low as about 20-80mA ... if it isn't you may have a short somewhere.

Looks like that's the case; it won't hold a charge. It's a 2.5 year old DieHard Platinum 31M marine battery and I'm about to test their stated replacement warranty.
