Wolf Side Mirrors Question

I understand the Wolf side mirrors are heated but am curious if they are supposed to be dull in their "view" appearance. Hard to describe this I suppose but the mirrors look to be in very good shape and not dinged up or anything of a sort, but the actual mirrors look somewhat clouded or yellowed and not really that clear to see out of. Anyone have any idea if this is the "normal" for these mirrors or for that matter have a clue what I'm talking about.

Thanks in advance.

Any chance they are plastic? According to this thread, MOD bought some Britpart versions of the wolf mirrors. If that's the case, they may actually fall off or make all objects in the mirror appear cheaper than they really are.

Heated mirrors are easy to fab. Buy a set of motorcycle grip warmers on ebay for $10. Pop out the glass and stick the grip warmer element to the back of the glass. poke a hole in the mirror housing for the wire. Put glass back in mirror. Wire to switch. Done.
