I got the HB flyer and they are selling a wireless winch remote for $25.

Anyone using it?

Not sure about the HF version but I went directly to the source (China) and got one for all of $15 from them that included 2x remotes (a garage door opener sized one and a key fob). I don't count on it as my one way to manipulate the winch but it seems to work pretty well given that my solenoid is under the hood and everything's protected from the elements.

Nowhere near as nice as the Warn wireless setup a buddy has...also nowhere near the price.

Nowadays everything is manufactured in China...

I was going to buy it to give it a try.

I know a lot of people use wireless winch controllers but have no idea how much thought people give to the implications or their course of action if the winch solenoid(s) or wireless receiver sticks in the on position when you're 50-100' away from your vehicle.
Just something to consider during use.

What would you be doing 50-100' from your truck winching? I would be worried about the people who wandered that far away with a rigged line and wanted to do anything-wireless or otherwise.

My wireless receiver is plugged into the solenoid pack on top of the winch...easily yanked out...

I wouldn't be, I don't have a wireless controller.
When I'm using a snatch block, as an example, I always go back to check it once I have a light load on the line to make sure all is ok. I could see being tempted to use a wireless remote to take that light load rather than walking back to the truck, take in the line, then walk back to the snatch block, check it, then walk back to the truck to winch.
