Winter Storm Nemo

Looks like what will be a freezing rain here will be fun for Jersey Northward.
Y'all yankee's take care and post up pictures. Boston forecast is 10-40 inches with high winds (70 mph offshore). A true blizzard for the cape etc.

Post pictures !

Firewood is stacked, fuel for the generators is ready. The 110 battery charger is plugged in just incase the snow is to deep for the Audi to get out of our road. Let the games begin.

Firewood stacked - Check (nice Kiln Dried stuff that you can light without any kindling)
Generator Topped off - Check (12-hour run time on 75% load)
Extra Fuel for Gen. - Check
Fridge stocked - Check (ask any New Englander what a grocery store looks like before a storm)

Defender Tee'd Up - Nope - Fail The D has been enjoying a lengthly (but necessary) maintenance session that includes among other things new swivels, exhaust, shocks, brakes, frame cleaning and Waxoyl.
Normally, I'd be jumping up-n-down to get the D back in action, but I'd much prefer that this laundry list is not rushed for the sake of some winter playtime.

I hope we get CRUSHED! I'm ready
That said, I hope the Romp goes off with success.

Really glad my new Muck boots just showed up last week! Yeah, this should definitely make Winter Romp "interesting" and I'm looking forward to it!! This storm could be a lot of fun as long as everyone stays safe.

Hahaha... I have some friends and families in SD and I always said to them that by living in San Diego, your right to complain about anything weather related is revoked!

This is gonna blow, lots of snow blowing and shoveling. On top of that, the rover wouldn't start, I need all my 4wd's in working order for this storm.

Got the rover started and running good, just a little too chilly out for it, all fueled up, have gas for the generator. I really hope it doesn't snow.

Wife called to tell me she went shopping for food.
My first question was how much beer do we have?
Seems like drinking and blizzards go hand in hand.

Tried to start the snow blower last night.
Murphy's Law.. Won't start.
Too lazy to try and repair so I brought home one from work - this one has heated handles..

Just filled up 30 gallons for the generator and the vehicles. I'm stocked with food, water and about a cord of firewood. Expecting 10-14". Bring it on.
