Wait a minute. I just read the supposed winning answer.

That's not what ECR says (for what it's worth)

http://eastcoastrover.com/INFOSeriesIIA.html

"Complaints U.S. drivers had about the Land-Rover was its lack of power, and a stiff clutch pedal. Land-Rover tried to address these problems in the Late Series IIA's by fitting 15" wheels to help acceleration of the 88's, and a larger diameter clutch line increase fluid flow. 16" wheels would no longer be available on the U.S. Land-Rover after 1968."

I'm still going with the lenses (have to justify what I spent on them).

I always thought Adventure Motorcars in Alabama had somewhat reasonable pricing on NAS Defenders...but now, damn!

Smart for them to post the sales figure on sold vehicles. Cuts down the nay-Sayers a bit. They do move a good deal of product.

It's assumed it sold at that asking price. That 97 110 is really good looking.

True. But I know for a fact that the gold-chain flippers out there are paying high $30's for high mileage 90's sight unseen so these prices are probably not too far off.
