Why D-90 is such a great place

I just wanted to take a quick second to say thanks to those that make this forum what it is.

Solid advice that helps most of us keep these beasts on the road, helpful tips that make the job easier, and help finding those impossible parts.

That along with some of the great members that really take care of us and the friendships that follow.

Justin at Lucky8, PTSchram, SafariHP where else do you find vendors like this?

Not to mention the members of the forum that really go out of their way to help each other out. K_Kowboy, Lynchee and Adventure110 have all helped me out with parts that go above and beyond.

Thanks to everyone and I hope you and yours have a very Happy Holidays.

Ditto. I appreciate the fact that most members on here are generally respectful, helpful and trustworthy. It's my favorite website. It's definitely a valuable resource to those of us that love these trucks. I was thrilled when the registry was added. A lot of fun to browse and see what others have done with their trucks.

I have met a few board members over the years. I've bought and sold parts to board members and bought an LR3 from a board member. All of which are great people. Loads of helpful advice here. Great crowd.

Cheers to all!!!

New joiners see ads ... The early members don't.

I travel for a living and have met and broke bread with board members from all over the country, each is as nice as the last. Of all the boards I have frequented this place by far has the nicest, most helpful members.
Here are a few highlights I have seen or experienced over my decade here:
Great advise
People willing to step up to help
Parts in a pinch
Roadside advise/rescue
Long distance pre purchase inspection
RURR
One particular member who over the years has donated several thousand dollars to my daughters juvenile diabetes fundraising efforts. (She was diagnosed when she was 13)

This place is amazing. When I sold my first Defender I felt like I just betrayed everybody here. Half of my reason to buy another Defender was to be part of this community again.
Thank you to all the helpful Defender and Series owners who actively participate here.
Whenever you make it out to the PHX area please message me and we can meet up for a meal or a beer.
Cheers to all!

Tsk. As right as all this is, the #1 benefit to all board members?

The peace of mind knowing that Horsey Stalking Central Command knows where you and your D are at all times. Even if you thought you sold it. :-)
