Who owns the 110 on the cover of the Spring Eddie Bauer catalog?

Nice rig. I question the realism of the photo, however..

Speaking of Defender sightings, the 24 movie (set in Africa) has more 110/series porn than any other primetime show I've ever seen.

Uh, yeah. And why not put the soft bags in the *back* of the truck, if it's obvious you have room? And I suppose they took a long time to do the shoot, as the front tire is half dry.

correct, also its a late build, the rims are the later tubless steel wheels fitted to the vehicles made after 2005

Looks to me like a RoW Td5.....

the front repeater turn light is in the Td5 position and it's the Td5 oval shape.

And the fuel filler is the threaded Td5 type (as opposed to the better one with lugs on, which you can remove and insert the jerrycan filler tube)

THE ROW late 300tdi's had the came light configarations as The TD5, and they also have the fuel filler the same as the threaded Td5 type. Becaused Land Rover standardised their production for ROW, TD5's tended to have the TD5 logo on the front wing where as the 300 logo was not generally on the ROW machines

A valid piont though, I guess we can never be sure what it is unless the owner tells us!

That's what makes it fun- no consistancy. Gotta love Td5 ROW 300Tdi trucks.... that weren't available even in the UK or EU countries. They are the best Defenders made IMHO- last generation of all the good nonelectrical mechanical stuff.

I confirm that, at least in my case.
