I've been working on making one myself out of an old Ex-Mod hood

Yea, all I need now is for someone to sew up the seams, and sew on a bunch of buckle straps I ordered from Strapworks.com. Otherwise it was a pretty simple process. OP, if you can find a NTO cargo area hood from an Ex-MOD in really good shape, it would be a lot less expensive to just make your own.

Great idea Kent. I wanted a more weathered look anyway. Thanks!

I'll take some more pictures of mine as I progress with it, but it's not exactly a priority right now as I'm in the middle of an engine swap too.

Sounds great, I'll start hunting for an old beat-up canvas top.

This canvas has a nice weathered and textured look to it. Almost looks like leather.

I also really like the paint patina. Seems darker than regular ex-mods.
