I have only 2...

Most I've seen -- Ben Smith from ROVERS, he has over 20 throughout his property in various stages of repair/disrepair/etc... A couple notable ones, a nice Series 1 80" he's restoring, and I think he has 3 or 4 FC101's..

Nice, I worry about the day that I buy a house with a nice big back yard and garage.. the only limited factor for me right now is space.

Only 5 1/2

I probably have enough parts to build 6 or 7 more does that count?

we'd have to define 'what is a land rover' better... is it a driveable example, is it something in disarray that still looks like a land rover, is it the chassis/vin?

I've owned at least 15 Rovers over the last 36 years - one Series 1, seven Series II's, four Range Rovers, one Discovery and the Defender. Currently down to three - 66 109" diesel wagon, 67 88" PU, and Defender 90.

I'm thinking I might have missed another Series truck in there somewhere but the 15 are confirmed. The most I owned at one time was six (my neighbors weren't happy either). I still want a 2-door Range Rover.

Jack W and I actually know the King of Rovers, he lives near us. We can count 17 confirmed Rovers and most are beautifully restored or like new maintained. I'm sure he would rather remain anonymous.

I'm going to have to point my Wife to this and thread and tell her "See, three isn't so bad. A fourth would still put us in the minority!"

This is a good thread for me to refer my family to, if I ever have to convice my family that I am not THAT addicted.

--------------------------

Our family has had a total of 5, and has had 3 Rovers at one time- 1995 Defender, 1995 LWB County, and a 1998 Discovery. I still have the D90. My sister still has the Disco.

She is thinking about a new LR3 for her family. If she gets it, and my wife falls in love with it too, then maybe WE would get the LR3 for our family at some point (when it is time to replace our family VW Passat 4Motion).

So I am hoping out rover populations will be going back up!

King of Rovers

I have three at the moment. '61 Series II, NAS 110, and '99 DII. My wife and 16 yr old daughter did the '90 RRC in.

Jack, I have what you seek - maybe we can work something out.
