Mike

Is this the gentlemen with the estate and the pink panther?

Or

Is it the gentlemen with a 300tdi SIII? I think he has quite a few as well.

Unfortunately I'm in the middle of three restorations right now - the 67 SIIA, the Porsche 356 and my Boler travel trailer so I'm unable to pursue another Rover right now. I'd still like to see pictures just to torture myself though. My wife would kill me if Idragged home anything else right now too.

Scotty Thorpe has around 7 in his driveway, an RRC in storage, and at least 6 in various stages of repair/disrepair in his field, that makes 14. The most around Houston as far as I know.

Collector customer of ours has close to 20, all in excellent shape. most restored, from Tdi 110s to Series II 88s
Lost count on what he has, but roughly just under 20.

On the other hand, my wife would be very pleased to get her garage space back. There is almost always an angry wife or two that accompanies a rover transaction. [some of my favorite reactions: "You bought another one?!" or "You sold X rover and NOT Y rover?!" or "You bought a transfer case, what is that, why do you need it?" or "But you just bought tires last month!"]

Jack, send me your email address and I'll send you more information. Here is a taste.

I looked at buying a 110 in Birmingham, Michigan from a guy who reportedly has 63 Land Rover vehicles, trucks, 110s, 90's, etc. The 110 offered was too nice (and WAY too expensive!). Was told by his broker that he's a collector and has other cars besides Land Rovers (all in excellent condition). Don't know any other details or if it's even true but he might be the "king". Just because you can doesn't mean you should might be the lesson here.

I've heard about that guy too. I was under the impression that he had owned a # of rovers over a course of time, not all at once. That 110 your talking about was really nice...not ECR restored nice, but in excellent shape.
