\Which engine for a swap to a "87 110?

Can I please get some opinions as to swapping a 19J to an Isuzu in a restored 110?

I am looking for diesel and as close as I can get to a trouble free ride., Truck used for weekends and beach time. Limited off roading. I don't have to go 75 mph, and will have very limited thruway driving.

I have been told that all the LR diesels are essentially inferior to the Isuzu. So, I am torn between staying "British" and getting something that is really reliable.

I think LS3 might be overkill?
Thanks

Contact Robert Davis and the Isuzu swap. He's done this and many more. I've driven his Isuzu powered 110 and it is incomparable to the earlier boat anchor diesels LR has produced.

19J to Isuzu

Before anyone says so; I have searched the forum and read the prior threads on this very topic. Just looking for any new ideas, such as the "Cummins"
