When a hummer just isn't enough..

I saw this truck mentioned in an article on Salon:

http://www.badboytrucks.com

I think I'll go for the one that is sealed against nuclear and biological weapons

What kind of vehicle is that and what military uses it? Hey, how do they get out away with no airbags?

The Kamaz is a Russian truck. It looks like the Bad Boy Truck is a converted US military truck.

Hmmm, this is the truck I'm used to seeing loaded with all of my Army stuff http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/hmett.htm

I've seen a few articles about HMT entering the North American military truck market, but haven't come across any of the vehicles myself.

"I believe this is the biggest Petrol Twin V8 14ltr SUV you will find, and will easily make Humvee's look like tiny dinky toys. With reduction hubs on all axles there is also incredible ground clearance. Ideal for keeping the rain off your Land Rover or Jeeps. "

Yeah yeah, I see HMT's all the time at the reserve base in Manchester, they drive them around town every now and then, no way they fit on anything other then a 12 foot road/trail, them suckers are BIG, I think some have rear steer to help. Some also have a big hook on the back to load and unload all kinds of containers, I think they can pick up or drop off a container in less then a minute or something, to be able tobe in and out fast. I still think a M1A2 would be a much better ride! Hey, if you are going to get something BIG, heavy and slow why not get something that can Drive through the side of a Building and blow stuff up!

LOL Get your mind out of the gutter. All you kilt wearing boys...**BIG GRIN**

I just do not know how I would park a truck that big? And let's talk about oil changes. OH MY, It would be a 100.00 oil change. "Uh ma'am we do not have enough oil to change 'the truck' today".

Park anywhere you want. On top of Toyotas. Or stradeling a pair of Hondas.

Buck,
I was thinking the same thing....You get one of those suckers and you don't need a garage/shop...Park the D90 under it.

Man, my winch is barely big enough to yank idiots with H2's out of snowbanks. Forget it, morons driving around semi's and cargo trucks all "bling bling" can stay stuck.
